Save The Drama For Yo Mama

I can't tell you how many times I've heard the phrase "Facebook is drama" or someone has told me that they deleted their facebook because it "caused drama."  You know what causes drama? You.

Just because you got in a fight with your significant other doesn't mean you need to get on social media and blast them.  All that will do is open a door for someone who's looking for an opportunity.  If you have an ex that keeps talking to you and you don't think you should be talking to them, delete them.  Safeguard yourself and your relationship, if not you will have no one to blame but yourself.  The couples that immediately change their status to single every time they fight are probably the worst.  Normal people fight from time to time, that doesn't mean you break up every-time you fight...unless you're in middle school, in which case, carry on.

This applies to friendships as well.  If you have a fight with a friend, there is no need to put your business all over facebook or twitter.  All this will do is make it harder for you to mend fences as all of your other friends will now have a jaded view of them.

I tend to shy away from girls who use the all-to-famous line "I only have guy friends, girls are too much drama."  For one, if you've hung around a group of guys you'll notice they have just as many issues, they just deal with them differently.  Secondly, when one of those guys breaks your heart, nothing can take the place of your best girl friends, that's the kind of therapy you can't pay for.  I'm a firm believer that we all create and feed the drama in our lives.  If you are not the one creating the drama than remove the people who are. And while we're at it, please delete your vague status updates.

XOXO
Brittany
